an impromptu rejoicing of spring

Spring arrives, and reminds us of life. The weather, the colors, the light: all these bring us joy.

There have been moments of joy in the winter. But they were timid and sheltered. We knew the winter winds could whip them away in an instant.

But suddenly, the winds have changed, and we spring forth from hiding.

The fresh air comes and we can breathe again.

I am reminded of Paul’s command to rejoice in the Lord always. That feels much easier when surrounded by the beauty of these moments, doesn’t it?

I captured a moment of worship today in my own garden. A flower, exquisite with the color of the Creator of joy. It is a free 8 x 10 printable that I would love to share with you.

Rejoice today.
